Marvin Snider, Ph.D. has been a clinical psychologist with a specialty in family therapy that involved working with people in whatever combination fit the needs of each situation. In 1992 he published his approach to family therapy in Family Process Therapy.
You have a choice in how you choose to live your life. You can take your chances and cope with events as they happen or you can be proactive and pursue what is important to you.
This latter option inspired writing the Tookit as a guide to achieving your desired quality of life. The selection of topics was based on the range of concerns I heard in forty years of working with families. I heard their concerns and the various creative ways they had of addressing them. I culled the collective wisdom from these experiences for inclusion in the Tookit.
The Toolkit has two sections. One section deals with specific topics; parenting, adoption, divorce, marriage, work, and many more. The second section deals with behavior that applies to every subject: how people communicate, resolve conflict, make decisions, and others.
